Re: Transition to Medical Insurance

As of July 1, 2012, a new state law, SB 946, requires many health insurance providers to provide Applied Behavior Analysis coverage for individuals diagnosed with autism. These behavioral services will be extended to Medical clients for most developmental disorders starting July 1st, 2018.  These FAQ are intended to answer questions that families and caregivers may have regarding how this new law will affect their access to ABA services.
